A 1972 Omega Seamaster 'Jumbo' stainless steel wristwatch. This oversized Seamaster—commonly referred to by collectors as the 'Jumbo'—features a distinctive and sought-after 38mm stainless steel case. The watch has a vivid blue central dial, with an applied steel Omega logo and white script denoting the model designation. The main dial is recessed below a white chapter ring, with red minute markers. Large block hour markers, with textured ridges towards the front edge and a black markers to the back. A framed date aperture to 3 o'clock. The hours and minutes are indicated by lume filled white 'pencil' hands.
The large stainless steel case has a brushed steel finish to the top and flanks, while the flat bezel and the champfered edges have a contrasting polished finish. The screw-down case back features an embossed Omega hippocampus medallion. Original winding crown and glass.
