A 1972 Omega Geneve automatic wristwatch. An unusual silvered dial, with a pinstripe effect finish. Applied steel baton hour markers, doubled up at 12 o'clock. A sleek finish overall, with no outer minute track. A recessed date aperture to 3 o'clock. A printed Omega logo below 12 o'clock, along with the model designations below. Signed Swiss made below 6 o'clock.
This case style is often referred to as a 'TV dial' case, it also bares similarities to the classic tank designs. The case follows sleek lines from the bezel to the lugs, with rounded surface edges. A push down case back with a brushed finish. Original Omega winding crown.
Powering the watch is the Omega Caliber 1012, a 23-jewel automatic winding movement. Case reference 162 0060.
