An impressive, large oak cased Victorian bracket/mantel clock. Carved detailing to the base mouldings and standing on bun feet. An arched pediment with carving. Side columns and opening side sound fret doors. A well engraved brass and silvered dial with bevelled glass to the door. Strike/silent and slow/fast subsidiary dials to the top corners. Fretwork side sound frets and opening doors. A quarter striking 'ting-tang' mechanism by noted makers Winterhalder & Hofmeier of 8-day duration. Circa 1895.
