An Anglo-American drop dial wall clock. A walnut veneered case with the original side carvings. Pewter circular and line inlays to the case. The original glazed pendulum aperture. A brass bezel surround to the dial. A 12" painted dial with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism by the 'Superior Clock Co.' (with the original label to the inside) striking the hours on a gong. Circa 1885.
