An Edwardian mahogany cased mantel clock of smaller proportions. Choice flame mahogany veneers to the rounded top case of Georgian design. Ogee brass bracket feet. An enamel dial, brass bezel and convex glass with blued steel hands. Signed to the dial by retailer 'Maple & Co. London'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1910.
