An Edwardian mantel clock of Georgian design. A well proportioned mahogany case with inlays to the front. A pagoda pediment surmounted by a finial and flanked by 2 finials at the lower section. Brass capped, fluted front columns. Fretwork to the side sound panels. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steels hands. A brass dial surround and bevelled glass. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong signed Japay Freres. Circa 1910.
