A 1970's JLC Atmos Clock

A 1970's Jaeger - LeCoultre Atmos clock. A gilt brass case in excellent condition with side and top panels. An opening glass front and a transporting lock catch below the case front. A caliber 526-5 JLC mechanism with 15 jewels. A chapter ring with arrowhead markers.
The Atmos clocks are perpetual and do not require winding. They use a hermetically sealed unit with bellows, similar to an aneroid barometer. It expands and contracts with minute temperature changes to power the clock.
