$ 1007 | €986
A 1950s Girard-Perregaux wristwatch, in a slim stainless steel case. This watch stands out with its particularly rare 'tuxedo' style dial. An outer hour track features a bold black ring, detailed with Roman numerals that are etched through the dark finish, revealing the silvered finish beneath. This subtle contrast between the black and silver creates an eye-catching display. The main dial surface is finished in a silver tone. A subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o'clock of a crosshair design. The hours and minutes are indicated by 'Alpha' hands in a black finish.
A slim stainless steel case, of a 3 piece design. The thin bezel surround accentuates the dial, as do the lugs which are tapered towards the ends. The case back is stamped 'Fond Acier Inoxydable, Swiss made'. The Girard-Perregaux logo is stamped to the inner case back. Case reference 9133.
The watch is powered by a manual wind 21 jewel AS 1130 mechanism, signed Girard Perregaux.
