1933 Fusee Dial Wall Clock, GvR

An English fusee public service dial clock. A mahogany/walnut case with a brass bezel surround. A 12" painted dial signed 'GvR' for King George 5th.  An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Stamped to the mechanism plates 'H3968 SM & Co 1933 GVR. 

Stockall, Marples & Co worked at Clerkenwell in the 20th century and supplied clocks to the Military, Offices and Railways.
