An 1821 18K gold pocket watch by Joseph Johnson, Liverpool. An excellent quality case with unusual seashell designs to the outer case edge. A high quality English fusee mechanism signed 'Detach'd Patent' and 'Josh Johnson Liverpool 3272'. The number 3272 is repeated to the case inner. This watch has 18K gold hallmarks for Chester 1821.
