A cast brass bezel surround to the circular painted dial signed 'Law and Son, Balls Pond Road'. A seconds dial and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

Thomas Law and Son of London are recorded in Baillies' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working from 1863.
