 A good quality Victorian mercury 'sea coast' stick barometer. A heavy oak case with an arched pediment with carving. An original vernier scale adjuster and carving either side. A carved cistern cover. A high quality mercury thermometer with coiled botom section and bevelled glass. Twin dials with weather predictions and 27 to 31" and a large bore mercury tube. Circa 1860.

These examples were often seen in glass cases in sea side resorts, some still survive to this day.
