 A fusee dial wall clock. A 13" painted dial signed 'MERCHANT BRISTOL'  with blued steel hands. A well proportioned walnut case with a brass bezel surround. A golden colour to the case of good patination.  An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism. Circa 1880.


Merchant of Bristol is recorded in AJ Moores' The Clockmakers of Bristol' book as working from 1869-1883 at Christmas Steps and Paxton Place.
