An engine turned silvered dial with 'moon' blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell (taken off for photo0 with silk suspension. Signed to the mechanism 'Dupont a Paris' who worked at Rue St Martin from 1850-1860.
