An English Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A light walnut case with brass bezel surround. A larger 14" painted dial with blued steel hands and signed 'R F DAVIS & SON, PLYMOUTH. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1895.

The Davis family of Clockmakers are recorded in Clive Ponsford's  'Devon Clocks & Clockmakers' book as working from 1889 at 29, Whimple Street and 96, Treville Street from 1897 onwards.
