 An unusual Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A painted dial signed 'Biggs Maidenhead'  with 'moon' blued steel hands. A mahogany case with a cast brass bezel surround and domed glass.  A 'star' case with choice flame mahogany veneers. An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism. Circa 1895.


E.T Biggs of Maidenhead is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working in 1899.
