Carved detailing to the dial sides and the cistern cover. An ivorine scale with weather remarks and signed by the maker. Twin vernier slide adjuster to mark the rise & fall in air pressure shown from 27-31".

Henry Robinson of London (Bishopsgate) and Shrewsbury (High Street) is listed in Banfield's 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working in 1870
