A quality French mantel clock in the regulator style. An ebonised case with finely detailed inlays and brass edging. A glass front, arched side panels and back door. A regulator type pendulum with compensating brass and steel. A silvered centre marked 'R A' for retard/advance adjustments. An enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands and a gilt bezel surround. Indistinctly signed 'Fenard' to the dial.
An 8-day duration mechanism marked Paris, striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1880.
