An early 1970s Jules Jurgensen automatic wristwatch. An attractive dial design, with an accented outer minute track in black. The dial has a well-presented 'sunburst' finish and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The hour and minute hands have a central black strip, matching the design of the applied baton markers. Signed towards 12 o'clock, 'Jules Jurgensen Est. 1740', and towards 6 o'clock, 'Automatic'.
A well-presented gold-plated case, in beautifully aged condition. This particular watch formed part of a collection purchased by Kembery Watches and has been cosmetically untouched for an extensive period of time after being purchased from a noted collector. The case is of an oversized style and has a brushed finish to the main body, contrasting with the polished sides. A stainless steel screw-down case back with brand markings and logos. Original JJ signed winding crown.
A 17-jewel Jules Jurgensen-signed automatic winding mechanism, with the logo signed to the rotor.
