14K GOLD DUAL TIME POCKET WATCH

Watches

A rare and unusual dual time 'captains' pocket watch in 14K gold. Red Roman numerals to the left dial and blue Ottoman numerals to the right hand side, these follow through the subsidiary second dial. Gilt detailing and painted borders to the glazed enamel dial. A well detailed case back with a cartouche surrounded by floral wreaths to the centre. The inner case back is enscribed 'Ancre 2 Jours d'heures Spiral Breguet, 15 Rubis'. Circa 1900.

A fine quality champleve enamel pocket watch in 18K gold. An early example circa 1840 in a slim case with silvered, matted dial with 'moon' Breguet hands. Green, blue and black enamel to the case back, sides and loop. Signed by makers 'Boget & Olivet, Geneve' to inner case.
